Extended Lesson

Extended Lesson – December of 2014 brought on the first Kid’s Extended Lesson at ROF.  Three half days of fun, education, riding, games and activities was the perfect way for Angela’s Equine Solutions to wrap up the year!

Dressage lesson

Dressage lessons – The second half of 2014 brought on more fun challenges for Angela.  She continued her education with a dressage trainer and a jumping trainer.  She was able to expose young horses to these disciplines and build on their education as well.  Angela is very thankful to have “Six Pound Farm” Warmblood Sporthorses brought to her to be started.  The most recent filly is named Odele SPF or “Velvet.”  Velvet and Angie have been working hard during their dressage lessons.  Link to most recent video of Velvet.

Buck Clinic

Buck – In September Angela participated in a Buck Brannaman clinic at Sunflower Farms.  Buck is a world renowned Horseman who is famous for his documentary “Buck.”  Angela was fortunate, yet again, to be able to take Maxine to this clinic.  The clinic was fun, challenging and very rewarding.  Maxine amazed everyone with her progress!!

Buster Clinic

Buster – In June Angela participated in the Buster McLaury clinic at Sunflower Farms.  Angela was lucky enough to take a horse, Maxine, that was recently rescued by a few clients of hers.  Buster is a nationally known Horsemanship Clinician. “Once the foundation is there, we can refine it in any direction we choose — reining, dressage, cutting, barrel racing, or simply an enjoyable conflict-free trail ride.”- Buster.  Angie & Maxine’s Owners couldn’t have been happier with how well Maxine did at the clinic!

Horsemen's Reunion

Horsemen’s Reunion

Horseman’s Reunion – In April Angela spent a week with her father, fellow equestrian, in California watching 20 horseman starting 40 colts.  Its an opportunity to watch so many different men/disciplines in their very own way of starting young horses. A special event she looks forward to year and year!

Mojo

Mojo – In April one of Angela’s friends/clients rescued a foal from “The Last Chance Corral.” A non-for profit rescue organization that rescues nurse mare foals, among other equines. “A nurse mare foal is a foal who was born so that its mother might come into milk. The milk that its mother is producing is used to nourish the foal of another mare, a more “expensive” foal. Primarily these are thoroughbred foals, though certainly are not limited to the thoroughbred industry.”

Angela was fortunate enough to watch the beginning stages of rescuing a foal and has been able to watch “Mojo” in his happy healthy home.  One of Angela’s future goals is to rescue a foal of her own.

Romeo

Romeo was started by Angie at ROF, he is a National Show Horse.  He was in training at ROF for 3 months then went back home where Angie and his owner worked together to progress him further in Dressage. Romeo was sold and went onto California where he won 3 Half Arab Hunter Pleasure Regional Junior horse classes. He went top ten in Jr Horse at US Arabian Nationals in October, 2014. Gratifying to see the young horses progress in their discipline after their start at ROF!
